Glen Alice church celebrating 119 years

Members of Glen Alice Christian Church, Rockwood, will celebrate the church’s 119th anniversary on Aug. 28 with guest speakers and musicians in morning and afternoon worship services.

Rick Bean, academic dean at Johnson University, will speak during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. A time of fellowship will precede the service at 10 a.m.

A special fellowship meal will be provided after the morning worship service.

Special afternoon music will be provided by Wade Sims, Forest Robbins, and The Dudley Evans family.
