Grateful vets turn out for Davis

More than 150 residents crowded into the Utopia Cafe in downtown Harriman Wednesday afternoon to meet with U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis.

He had a hero’s welcome, thanks to area veterans who came to show their appreciation for the congressman’s successful efforts to fund a veteran’s clinic in Roane County.

Other residents had another mission on their minds — financial support for the Princess Theater in Harriman.
