Sincere sympathy to Sister Elfredia Williams and other relatives in the death of Elfredia’s brother.

He passed away suddenly early Sunday morning in a hospital in Griffin, Ga.

Our prayers are with this family.

Our deep sympathy to Rex Harris and all family members and friends in the home going of his wife, Elizabeth Harris, who recently passed away.

Sincere sympathy to the loved ones of Bertha Mae Perry, who recently passed away in her home.

She was the mother of four children: Everett Perry, Venus Trevarthen, Andrea Perry and Sheila Perry-Pulliam.

She had 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a half-brother, Jack Matlock.

She was a former resident of Harriman and a graduate of Campbell High School. Her final resting place was in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Bertha was a wonderful person and loved by many. She will be missed by family and friends.

Margaret Ruth Collier and Jessie Bel Jones were some of her special friends.

Happy 45th wedding anniversary to Dan and Pat Taylor, who were married Feb. 6, 1968.

They are the parents of four children and three grandchildren.

Congratulations to this lovely couple. You are blessed.

Our deepest sympathy to family and friends in the home going of Margie Johnson, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6. She was a resident of Estates Assisted Living facility in Oak Ridge.

She was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Maggie Martin.

Margie was a very caring person. She was the mother of six children. She had a sister, Maxine Martin, and brother Melvin Childress, from Cincinnati.

Her funeral was Tuesday in New Century United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Atwater officiating.

Happy birthday wishes to Portia Jones, who celebrated her birthday this month. Portia is the daughter of the Rev. Clyde and Jessie Bel Jones.

Molly Perry celebrated her 15th birthday on Feb. 9. Molly is the daughter of Nora Hightower. Hope you had a very happy birthday, Molly. Be blessed.

Happy birthday to my nephew, Dan Keith Anderson, who celebrated his special day Feb. 14. Dan, may you be blessed with many more birthdays.

Olajuwon “Bam” Howard celebrated his birthday Feb. 9. He is the son of Monique Batey, Atlanta, and Alonzo Howard of Oak Ridge.

His grandparents are the Rev. Lionel and Margie Moore of Harriman. Happy birthday, Bam.

Happy birthday to Norma Bazel. Norma will celebrate her birthday Feb. 22. She will celebrate this special day with her family. Have a blessed day, Norma.
