Our deepest sympathy is extended to the families of Jadah Gallaher and Roderick Drummond, who lost their lives due to an accident.

There are a lot of prayers from concerned people.

Jadah is the daughter of the Rev. Willie and Sister Missy Gallaher.

Rod, as we call him, was a wonderful young man. He came from a Christian home.

They will be missed. Let’s continue to lift both families in prayer.

Get-well wishes to Darius Gallaher and Hunter Crass, who were hurt in the train and car accident.

They are in University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

Let’s keep them in our prayers and remember that God can still heal.

Darius is the brother of Jadah. Hunter is a friend of the family.

Keep praying for both young men that God will heal both of them and their families.

Happy birthday wishes to members of St. Mary’s Baptist Church during June: Pecola Ewing, Allen Hickman, Carolyn Clemmons and Denice Bolton.

May all of you be blessed with a long blessed life.

Happy wedding anniversary to Charles and Kay Knaff.

They were married June 30, 1973. They will be happily married for 41 years Monday, June 30.

Herbert and Carolyn Griffin of Rockwood will celebrate 31 years of marriage June 25. They were married June 25, 1983. Both are members of St. Mary’s Baptist Church.

The sixth pastoral anniversary of Pastor Anthony Cannon, Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Lenoir City, was held Sunday, June 1.

Theme for this anniversary was “Walking in God’s Best.”

The 11 a.m. speaker was Bro. Nicolas Jones. The 3:30 p.m. message was delivered by Pastor Alonzo Noble from Chattanooga.

Music was provided by The Male Chorus.

Both services were so uplifting. Dinner was enjoyed by all.

The Rev. Cannon is married to Sybil Harris Cannon. They are parents of two children.

Julia Harris, Sybil’s mother, and I spent the day with them. We were blessed.
