Harriman man charged with child rape

A Harriman man is in custody at the Roane County Jail charged with rape of a child.
John P. Little, 36, was taken into custody Sunday, Sept. 9.
His bond is $75,000, and he has an initial court date of Sept. 24.
Harriman Police records said the complaintant said her 9-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted by Little.
The family was referred to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Knoxville, for a forensic physical exam.
