A Roane County man is jailed in Sevier County on a first-degree murder charge.
Gatlinburg police responded to a 911 call at Gatlinburg Town Square around 11:05 p.m. on May 10.
Derek Ogle was found at the scene stabbed when police arrived.
Ogle, 27, was transported to LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, where he was pronounced dead.
Anthony Richards of Harriman has been charged with Ogle’s murder.
Police said Richards, 26, was taken into custody at the scene. He is being held at the Sevier County Jail on a $1 million bond.
