Harriman seeks advice on hospital transfer

Harriman Mayor Chris Mason has an eye out for some legal advice before city officials sign an agreement for Covenant Health to take over Roane Medical Center.

Harriman City Council authorized Mason on Tuesday to have another attorney look at the proposed lease and purchase agreements from Covenant Health.

Councilman Mark Powers said he believes someone needs to look at the agreements in detail as the time for action draws near.
