The men of Harriman’s Renaissance Terrace are taking matters in their own hands to raise money for Alzheimer’s disease research.
Featured in a “Dude Looks Like an Old Lady” contest are, from left, Roger Parker, administrator; Amos O’Keefe; physician’s assistant; Jerry Malicoat, accounts receivable; Brandon Whiteside, assistant administrator; and Dr. Mancel Wakham, medical director.
They took to the runway to strut their stuff for the residents, staff and family members of Renaissance Terrace, raising more than $100 with the event.
“We are serious about raising money for this worthy cause,” said Misty Deportere and Jennifer Moore, event coordinators.
The money raised in the contest brought Renaissance Terrace’s team to more than $1,000 on the way to its $2,500 goal.
