HMS, RMS split close games

The Rockwood Middle School Lady Tigers rose to the occasion, defeating the Harriman Middle School Lady Blue Devils by a 24-17 margin Thursday evening at Harriman.

Rockwood was rocking and rolling their way to an early 6-1 lead at the end of the opening period before stretching the halftime advantage to 10-1. 

That lead was cut down to 13-7 at one point in the third period, but the Lady Tigers used a 6-0 swing to take a 19-7 lead into the final stanza.
