Hospital sale: Councilmen have unanswered questions

Officials say there are still unanswered questions in a proposed agreement to merge Roane Medical Center and Covenant Health Inc.

Although Covenant has given a formal offer to Harriman city officials, exhibits describing many financial figures are missing.

“Jim (Gann, Roane Medical administrator) has been working on exhibits,” Councilman Mark Powers said.

“I told Jim it would not pass this body without the exhibits,” he added.
