Howard starting Impact Church

-A A +A

Roane County native DeWayne Howard has returned home to start a new church, Impact Church.

Howard grew up in Kingston and graduated from Roane County High School in 1994.

He attended Kingston’s Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where he surrendered to the ministry and has pursued it since.

Howard served several churches in the Roane County area and was founder and host of the “Gospel USA” program on the Roane County’s cable channel.

For the last 18 years, he and his family have traveled across the country in evangelism and started churches in Athens and McMinnville.

Howard is launching an Impact Vision Tour to share information about Impact Church and invite the community to partner with him in this new journey.

Stops confirmed on the Vision Tour include Dec. 10 in Kingston Community Center, and Dec. 12 in Harriman Community Center.

Both informal gatherings will start at 7 p.m.

During the Impact Vision Tour, Howard will discuss Impact Church’s mission and future endeavors.

Details are available at www.ImpactChurchTN.com, on the church’s Facebook page, or by calling 808-8866.
