During my nearly 30 years of marriage, I’ve been blessed to have great in-laws.
From what some of my friends and acquaintances say, my experience puts me in the minority.
I’ll happily stay there.
While my late father-in-law passed on 15 years ago and hasn’t been with us to watch his grandson grow into a fine young man, my mother-in-law is still very much a part of our lives.
On Saturday night, after a wonderful home-cooked meal at her house, we finally had “Christmas.”
