Roane County’s unemployment rate continued to drop in November, according to statistics released late last month from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
The state’s figures indicate that the jobless rate for November was 7.3 percent, down 0.5 percent from October.
That means 26,100 workers in the county’s 28,150 labor force were employed during the month.
The county’s jobless rate has dropped 0.2 percent from the same period last year, when Roane County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.5 percent.
