Rocky Houston will not testify in his double-murder trial. He informed Special Judge James “Buddy” Scott of his decision Tuesday afternoon.
“And that's your own personal decision?” Scott asked.
“Yes,” Rocky responded.
During his opening statement, defense attorney Randy Rogers hinted that Rocky might take the witness stand in his own defense.
Houston also said his testifying was a strong possibility when the defense began presenting its evidence this week.
After the jury reviewed some photos, the defense rested its case.
Scott sent the jurors home at 2 p.m. He told them to be ready to return to court at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
