Kingston comes close in upset bid

Prior to Friday's match up between Kingston and No. 1 ranked Knoxville Catholic, many prognosticators, fans and sportswriters expected the Fighting Irish to roll over the Yellow Jackets on their way to another undefeated season.

However, on a night where fall was in the air and Halloween characters were in the Kingston band, the experts were tricked and Kingston fans were treated.

In what was perhaps the best performance by a Kingston team in the last decade, the Yellow Jackets outplayed the Fighting Irish in all aspects of the game, but still came up short, 14-6.
