Kingston City Council has placed a couple of zoning measures that could clear the way for a controversial new development on the Aug. 12 meeting agenda.
The measures, which would rezone a 47-acre parcel near Davis and Dogwood Drives from residential to “controlled commercial,” passed unanimously on first reading in July.
The measures must pass the second and final reading to take effect.
A mandatory public hearing on the measures will be at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 12, prior to the full Council session at 7 p.m.
