Representatives of Kingston’s Daniels, Uselton and Clay, P.C. have signed a merger agreement with Collinsworth, Bright and Co., P.C., of Nashville.

The accounting firms will now operate as Uselton, Clay and Bright, P.C. — or UC&B.

UC&B is a full-service accounting firm able to provide comprehensive tax, accounting and financial services that encompass nearly every aspect of business and personal finance, including taxation, accounting and auditing, valuation, business management and other such services.

“As individual firms, we each brought a distinct skill set and services to our clients,” said Keith Uselton.

“By combining the resources of each firm, we can provide our clients with top financial management resources from a team with a diverse portfolio of financial management skills and industry focuses.”

Both the Kingston and Nashville offices will remain open and operate as Uselton, Clay and Bright, P.C.

“The decision to merge was based on the idea that we can leverage synergies and provide more efficient service to our clients,” said Clyde Bright.

The Kingston branch of UC&B, at 107 Armour Road, will primarily serve small- to medium-size enterprises, not-for-profits, local governments and growth-oriented individuals in East Tennessee.

The Nashville office will continue to focus on providing consulting services to artists, record executives, recording studios, publishing companies, writers and musicians, in addition to traditional accounting services for small businesses, banks, and non-profits.

That office is at 209 10th Ave. S., Suite 216.
