Kingston falls to Anderson

The Kingston Yellow Jackets and Lady Jackets were hoping that playing at home would be enough of a boost Friday night to knock off rival Anderson County, but it wasn’t to be as the Mavericks and Lady Mavericks left Roane County High School with a District 4-AA sweep.

The evening opened with the Lady Jackets dropping a 62-51 decision to the Lady Mavericks. The nightcap game wasn’t nearly as close as Anderson County cruised to a 74-33 victory.
