The Kingston City Council is holding a special-called meeting at 4:30 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 28) to discuss impacts and the city's response to the TVA fly ash impoundment break. The emergency meeting at the Kingston Community Center was called by Councilmen Kevin McClure and Brant Willians, and the public is invited.
At this meeting, the city of Kingston will begin the process of formulating its official reaction and response to the massive TVA fly ash spill, according to Williams.
