Kingston must win Friday night to make playoffs

It’s been 70 days since the start of the 2007 season and now the regular season comes to a close Friday night for Roane County’s five high school football teams.

Three of the county’s five teams, Harriman, Midway and Oliver Springs, know their postseason fate entering Friday’s contests while Rockwood and Kingston still have some things to straighten out this weekend.

Kingston plays the biggest game in Roane County this week as the Yellow Jackets must knock off Austin-East to make the playoffs.
