The Kingston Lady Jackets soccer team ended their regular season Tuesday night with an impressive 6-0 win over the Loudon Lady Redskins.

“We controlled the ball 70 percent of the time tonight and that's what happens when we play our game,” said an elated Kingston head coach Greg Bowman. “I'm very pleased with how we executed tonight.”

The Lady Jackets scoring spree began with Emalee Buckner scoring the first goal of her soccer career for Kingston off of a rebound four minutes into the contest to make the score 1-0.

The next goal for the Lady Jackets came at the 17-minute mark when Christina Neal drilled a 25-yard blast into the net on an Alex Hartley assist to make the score 2-0. Later on, Hartley hit another long-distance unassisted kick from 35 yards out to make the score 3-0 just 26 minutes into the game.

The last Lady Jackets goal of the first half came when  Neal scored off of an Allison Klinker assist to make the score 4-0.

In the second half, Hartley scored again, this time on an Amanda Riggs assist to make the score 5-0.

The last goal came at the 70-minute mark when Emma Tobin scored on a Klinker assist to make the final score 6-0.

Kingston had 35 shots on goal compared to 10 for the Lady Redskins.
