KRB leader Jackson charged

Keep Roane Beautiful’s former director, Wendy Jackson, has been indicted on charges of theft from the nonprofit organization.

Jackson, 43, 105 Edgewood Drive, Harriman, is accused of obtaining debit cards for the beautification organization’s account without authorization, then often using them for personal charges.

One card was in her Jackson’s name; another was in a board member’s name.

There are approximately $14,000 in charges from Jackson’s card.
