Lady Jackets defeat Harriman

   COALFIELD—Coalfield’s high school basketball teams opened up their 2008-09 season by hosting Harriman in a pair of TSSAA-sanctioned Hall-of-Fame games last Thursday.

    The Lady Jackets proved they belong in the among the District 4-A favorites with an impressive 57-48 win over Harriman, while Coalfield’s boys dropped a 65-33 loss to a talented Blue Devil team.
