A slow start couldn’t keep the Kingston Lady Yellow Jackets from picking up their biggest win of the season Tuesday night, as Connie Guinn’s squad picked up a 50-44 victory over District 4-AA foe, Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK).
Early on it seemed that the Lady Warriors would make quick work of Kingston as they jumped out to a 16-7 lead after eight minutes of play, but the Lady Jackets outscored CAK 13-10 in the second period to pull within 26-20 at halftime.
Sydney Nunley led Kingston in the first half with six points while Allison Mossing added five.
