Leadership class plans symposium

The Leadership Roane County class of 2011 will present the fourth annual Symposium on Powerful Teaching in June.
The symposium will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 18 at Roane State Community College’s Roane County campus.
The event is for educators from all grade levels.
A continental breakfast and lunch are included with the $15 registra-tion.
The registration deadline is June 10.
The symposium is titled “On the Cutting Edge.” Topics will include innovations in the classroom, technology in education and creative teaching on a budget.
