Lions pancake fundraiser most successful ever

-A A +A

The residents of Roane County have again demonstrated their great generosity by their support of the Kingston Lions pancake breakfast on March 31. More than 200 people attended. We thank them and the many people who purchased tickets as a contribution.
We also thank Kingston Food City, Kroger, Piggly Wiggly, Reily Foods (JFG), United Grocery Outlet and Walmart for donating, or providing at reduced cost, the materials used for the breakfast so that our financial income was maximized.

We thank the Kingston First Baptist Church for use of their facility and the  scouts and leaders of BSA Troop 101 for their assistance.

As an annual feature, table sponsors were solicited as the primary source of income.
