Loden completes pharmacy schooling

Rebekah Leane Loden of Rockwood recently earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with cum laude honors from East Tennessee State University’s Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy.

A 2003 graduate of Rockwood High School, she completed a year of the prepharmacy curriculum at Roane State Community College before transferring to the University of Tennessee to earn a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology.

Loden began her pharmacy training in 2003 as a student technician at Live and Let Live Drugstore in Rockwood.

She continued training as a pharmacist intern with Chase Drugs Inc. in Harriman.

During her pharmacy eduation and practical experiences, she has retained a strong interest for independent pharmacy practice.

Her primary practice will be at Seymour Ad Value Pharmacy. She will also serve the Roane County community by fulfilling pharmacist duties at Chase Pharmacy at Physicians Plaza, Harriman, and Live and Let Live Drugstore.

Loden is the daughter of Dean and Lisa Loden of Rockwood.

Her grandparents are the late Jay and Edith Gregory, and the late Bud and Kathleen Loden.
