After Harriman’s John “Peanut” Hill performed his “drunk act” on an unsuspecting Jerry Reed, the country music star and actor was so impressed that he told Hill that he would put Hill in one of his shows. Hill didn’t think much of it until he received a call and landed a part in Reed’s movie, “What Comes Around.” The movie opened at the Princess Theater in Harriman with much fanfare, with Hill arriving at the premiere in a limousine and receiving the key to the city.
