A Cinetel Productions film crew was in Rockwood shooting the streets and faces of Roane County residents for the situation comedy, “I-40 Paradise.” Many of the external scenes were shot in Rockwood, with the remainder of shooting in Knoxville for the sitcom, which was broadcast on cable’s The Nashville Network. Why Rockwood? “The setting was just right,” explained casting director Bruce Ribble. “We looked all around, and Rockwood had what we were looking for.”
