Lots going on at Alpha House

Alpha House Inc., a faith-based transitional home for women leaving incarceration, had its first volunteer training in Providence House, Oak Ridge.

Prior to the training, an architectural conceptual drawing for a permanent structure for the ministry was unveiled.

A capital campaign to fund construction will be initiated in the near future.

The ministry is also planning to open its “Alpha BitZ” Thrift Store on May 1 at 5110 Harriman Hwy. (Hwy. 62) in the former Morrow Furniture Store building.

The store will help fund the continuation of Alpha House’s ministry and provide an opportunity for residents to engage in retail experience.
