Dominant is the only word to describe the Loudon Redskins performance Thursday afternoon against the Oliver Springs Bobcats with a 5-1 win.
The Redskins managed to score three quick goals to take a 3-0 lead to the half, having 14 shots on goal and preventing the 'Cats from a single solitary shot.
One bright spot for the 'Cats in the second half was Shawn Childress scoring a goal on a Jacob Pope assist to narrow the gap to 3-1.
However, euphoria quickly turned to anguish when the 'Skins scored back-to-back corner kicks to pull out to the 5-1 win.
Loudon had a 30-3 shots on goal advantage.
Oliver Springs' bright spots included Childress' goal and the goal keeping of Jonathan Foster (7 saves) and Thomas Phillips (6 saves).
The Bobcats will look to rebound this week with a pair of home games. Oliver Springs hosts Stone Memorial Tuesday and Tellico Plains on Thursday.
