Man dies in Hwy. 327 wreck

Criminal charges are pending in a single-vehicle wreck that claimed the life of an Oliver Springs man on Sunday.
The wreck was on Hwy. 327 around 8:30 p.m.
According to a report by Trooper Matthew Armes, Otto Joseph Flachbart III of Lenoir City was driving north in a truck with three passengers.
The vehicle failed to make a turn and overturned.
Passenger Fred M. Collins Jr., 48, was killed.
The report said Flachbart and the other passengers, identified as Cody A. York and Freddy R. Collins, were not injured.
Armes, in his police report indicated that Flachbart, 35, was using drugs at the time.
Tests were requested.
The report said York and Freddy R. Collins were wearing seatbelts. Flachbart and Fred M. Collins Jr. were not.
