Martha ‘Ruby’ Niesig

Martha “Ruby” Niesig, 87, of Bremen, Ga., formerly of Rockwood, died Friday, March 23, 2012, in Tanner-Higgins Medical Center in Bremen.

She preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nancy Daisy Currier Baker; and her husband, Richard Niesig.

Survivors include a son, William “W.C.” Hatfield, Bremen; and a daughter, Brenda F. Brooks, Dalton.

Funeral service was at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in Evans Mortuary chapel, Rockwood, with the Rev. Harold Newby officiating. Burial was at Jonesville Cemetery, Oliver Springs.
