Meigs County claws Midway in future district preview

The Midway Green Wave and Lady Waves would both end up with 1-1 records after the second of two Hall of Fame games to begin basketball season. Both teams won against Mt. Pisgah Tuesday night, but both would lose to Meigs County on Friday.
In what was a preview for next basketball season, the Lady Waves dropped a 64-37 decision to the Lady Tigers. The Green Waves fell 52-46 to the Tigers after leading late in the game.
