Midway falls at Sunbright, 63-54

Led by the 1-2 punch of seniors Kyle Gunter and Tyler Seabolt, the Sunbright Tigers picked up their first region win in 11 years, overwhelming Coach Darrell Ruffner and his Midway squad Saturday night in round one of the Region 2-A Tournament. 

Gunter and Seabolt combined for 50 points in a 63-54 win at the Tiger den.

The Tigers defense came out strong, like they have all postseason. Sunbright did not allow a point the first 4:19 and jumped out to a 8-0 lead before the Green Wave got on the board.
