Midway rolls on Black Friday

Black Friday turned out to be a good Friday for the Midway Green Wave and Lady Waves last week as both squads picked up home victories over Oakdale. Midway’s girls got the evening started with a 54-42 victory over the Lady Eagles when the Green Wave boys completed the sweep with an 83-50 victory. Friday’s sweep also marked the first time since Black Friday 2002 that the Green Waves and Lady Waves had beat Oakdale on the same night. Midway and Oakdale will both be on the road to end the week as Oakdale visits Rockwood on Friday while Midway travels to Monterey on Saturday.
