Midway rolls past Coalfield

It was a grand night for coach Darrell Ruffner’s Midway Green Wave as they roared past Coalfield 66-42 in their home opener to even their record at 1-1.

It wasn’t as good of an opening night for the Lady Waves coached by first year coach Amy Woody. Although they played hard for four quarters, they fell to the Lady Jackets 57-45 in a foul plagued game for both teams.

Thursday both teams will be at Sunbright and Friday night both teams will host Greenback.
