The Midway Green Wave and Lady Waves picked up a sweep over Berean Christian Tuesday night.
The Lady Waves pounded Berean 72-26 to improve their overall record to 13-10. More importantly the Lady Waves raised their district record to 7-4, and that could give the Lady Waves a home game when the district tournament starts next week.
The Green Wave also pulled out a tough 54-45 win over Berean to improve to 14-11 overall and 8-5 in the district.
Several factors will determine if the Green Wave will get a tourney game next week since the middle teams are all in a tight bunch.
