Midway swept by Monterey

The Midway Green Wave and Lady Waves opened the regular season Tuesday night with a pair of losses to Monterey.

Both Midway teams led late in  the game but couldn't hold on down the stretch. The Lady Waves fell, 35-34, while the Green Wave dropped a 49-41 decision to the Wildcats.

Midway returns to action Tuesday when they host Tellico Plains. Midway will be at Monterey on Saturday.
