Missing Obama sign raises Democratic ire

A large Obama campaign sign that was once in a grassy roadside area at Roane County Park is gone.

Roane County Democratic Party leaders said they learned the sign was gone lasr Wednesday.

“Somebody has our Obama sign. I’d like it returned or the value of it replaced,” said Bob Cowan, Roane County Democratic party chairman.

Democrats believe Republican volunteers may be the culprits.

“There are volunteers that get carried away,” said Democrat Jack McNew.
