Mr. & Mrs. Anderson

Anne Marie Wesolowski and Timothy James Anderson were married on May 21 in Winston-Salem, N.C., First Baptist Church.

David Hughes officiated during the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Mary Ann Wesolowski of Kingston.

The groom is the son of Richard Anderson and Linda Engle, both of Winston-Salem.

Music was provided by Timothy Olsen, principal organist of First Baptist.

The bride, escorted by her father, was attired in a beaded gown of candlelight silk and Alencon lace. Her fingertip-length veil was of tulle with beaded edging, and she carried a bouquet of pink and cream stock, sweet peas and peonies.

Erica Grace of Charlotte, N.C., attended as matron of honor, and Andrea Will of Milwaukee, Wis. served as maid of honor. Both are college friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister-in-law, Jocelyn Wesolowski of Tucson, Ariz.; the groom’s sister, Ashley Powell of Winston-Salem; the groom’s stepsisters, Elina Zalipe and Santa Zalipe, both of Winston-Salem; and the bride’s cousin, Margaret Sphar of Pittsburgh. Flower girls were the groom’s nieces, Mackenzie Powell, Addison Powell and Cameron Powell, all of Winston-Salem; and the bride’s niece, Evelyn Marie Wesolowski of Tucson.

The bride’s attendants wore knee-length Victorian lilac sateen dresses. They carried bouquets of pink and cream spring flowers.

Jonathan Moss of Winston-Salem served as his business partner’s best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends, Todd Maney of Tempe, Ariz., Scott Noble of Shanghai, China, and Richard Ray of Portland, Ore.; and the bride’s brothers, James Wesolowski of Kingston, Steven Wesolowski of Tucson and Peter Wesolowski of Bronx, N.Y. Keisuke Arai of Tokyo, Japan, was honorary groomsman. Ringbearer was the bride’s nephew, Jude Wesolowski of Tucson.

The ringbearer and groomsmen wore ties of the groom’s Scottish family tartan.

A wedding reception at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in Winston-Salem followed the ceremony.

The wedding cake was a traditional white layer cake with lemon filling and buttercream frosting decorated with sugar flowers in spring colors and topped with the bride’s grandparents’ wedding cake piece from their June 19, 1954, wedding day.

After a wedding trip to London and the Greek Islands, the couple is at home in Portland, Ore.
