Mr. & Mrs. Longmire 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Longmire of Kingston will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11.
Longmire and the former Lois Oran were married on Sept. 11, 1960, in Paint Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cline Frisbee officiating.
Their celebration includes her going shopping and him watching his favorite football team, the Tennessee Vols, with a possible trip to McDonald’s for dinner.
He is retired from Y-12 Plant with 30 years of service, and she is a housewife.
