Neil Brown

Neil Brown, 57, passed away Friday, Aug. 27, 2010.

Born July 23, 1953, he was the son of Gladys Pittman Brown and the late Henry Brown. He served in the U.S. Army during the early 1970s.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Brown.

Survivors  include his mother, Gladys Pittman Brown, Kingston; a brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Elizabeth Brown, Harrisonburg, Va.; a sister  and brother-in-law, Elaine and Rick Fox, York, S.C.; many nieces and nephews.  

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home at 296 Ash St., Newland, N.C., with the Hal McNeely officiating.
