Johnny W. Isabell
Johnny W. Isabell of Kingston died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Roane Medical Center.
He was a member of Williams Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Renfroe.
Survivors include wife, Nancy H. Isabell of Kingston; daughters, Billy Jo, Rena and Kelly, all of Dalton, Ga.; half brother, George Renfroe; half sister, Wanda Jolley; stepfather, L. C. Renfroe; and five grandchildren.
Graveside service was 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 in Edgemon Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating.
Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston was in charge of arrangements.
William Leo Norris
William Leo Norris, 77, of Kingston, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
He was born May 6, 1930 in Crab Orchard, son of William “Willie” David and Lena Mae (Croft) Norris. He was a heavy equipment operator and of the Baptist faith.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Carolyn Ann Norris; sisters, Verna Shaffer and Chris Sturgess; and son-in-law, Edwin R. Huff.
Survivors include wife, Frances (Girdley) Norris of Kingston; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah J. and Dan Tipton of Lenoir City, Marie and Bennie Lay of Fayetteville, N.C.; sisters, Jean Houston, Agie Barnwell, both of Crossville, and Ann Dearth of Sparta; brother, Jim Norris of Crossville; grandchildren, Connie Lynn Stone, Deborah Ann Huff, Tracie Lynn Lemons, Tiffany Marie Ladd, April Huff Stockton, Drey Tipton and Bri Tipton; great-grandchildren, Derek Stone, Aaron Stone, Justin Stone, Samantha Stone, Joshua Huff, Candice Huff, Ashley Lemons; special friends, Wendy Jones and Allison Stump of Kingston.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Ronald Nickell offici-ating. Burial will follow in Crossville City Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Ben Lay, Dan Tipton, Casey Stone, Justin Stone, Joshua Huff, Drey Tipton.
Joyce Hamilton Pesterfield
Joyce Hamilton Pesterfield, 70, of Kingston, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at her home.
She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church, but last attended Liberty Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John E. and May Belle Hamilton; brother, Robert Bobby Hamilton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Verna Pesterfield.
Survivors include husband, Birl Pesterfield; daughter, Teresa Kirkham; sisters-in-law and husbands, Betty and Joe Owens, Wanda and Stan-ley Scott, Frances and Ronald Sumner, all of Kingston, Emma Jean and Carlos Swafford, of Hixson, Freddie Pesterfield of Kingston; brothers-in-law and wives, Wayne and Connie Pesterfield, Earl Pesterfield Jr., Harold and Sherryl Pesterfield, Curtis Hembree, all of Kingston; special care-givers, Darlina Brooksbank, Kay McGinnis, Dianna Gordon, Tracy Rhody, Freda Ramey, Jeff Pesterfield, Betty Owens, Wanda Scott, Connie Pes-terfield and Tami Hamby.
Funeral will be 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 in the Kyker Chapel with the Rev. Randy Griffis, the Rev. Ronnie Nickell and the Rev. David Harmon officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Kingston Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Pesterfield, Bradley Owens, Brian Owens, Ron Sumner, Troy Pesterfield, Tony Pesterfield, Darrly Scott and Howard Lee Pesterfield.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
