Twice, the Oliver Springs Bobcats baseball team had the Sunbright Tigers on the ropes, but on both occasions, however, the Tigers rebounded to sweep the Bobcats in a District 4-A doubleheader by scores of 6-3 and 9-6.
Sunbright started the scoring in the top of the first with a run, but the ‘Cats responded with three runs coming across the plate in the bottom of the inning.
The first inning came with a price for the 'Cats as Tanner Turpin injured his elbow and could miss significant playing time the rest of the season for the Bobcats.
