It was defensive errors and a lack of timely hitting that did in the Oliver Springs Bobcats by a 7-5 margin to the Sweetwater Wildcats on a bone-chilling Thursday night at Oliver Springs’ Arrowhead Park.

Oliver Springs got two outs to start the first inning, but fielding errors led to the Wildcats taking the early 1-0 lead.

Oliver Springs threatened in the bottom of the inning, but Tony Kegley’s squad left runners on second and third and then the Wildcats pushed the lead to 2-0 in the top of the second on another fielding error.
