When I discovered my next “Out to Lunch” article would be published on St. Patrick’s Day, I thought it was appropriate to write about Flaherty’s Irish Pub in Maryville.
Maryville is a city founded by Scots-Irish.
My wife, Carol, and I were fortunate to spend some time in Dublin, Ireland, several years ago and have lunch in one of the pubs.
I asked Jim and Beverly Nall if they would like to join us for this latest adventure. Jim grew up in Kingston and is in our Sunday school class at Kingston First Baptist Church.
