Joel Glenn Willis, a 55-year-old Kingston man, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and criminal trespass last week.

Kingston Police Officer Brian Luttrell said he was traveling on North Third Street when he saw Willis standing in the road, yelling at cars.

“When Mr. Willis saw me, he started walking toward the United Community Bank located at 223 N. Third St.,” the report said. “Mr. Willis made entry into the bank.”

Luttrell said Willis became combative while inside the bank.
