Those who have suffered from drug abuse, as well as those who give thanks that the negative effects of drug abuse haven’t entered into their lives are encouraged to join family and friends of Clayton Smith and the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition for a special prayer and “Say No to Drugs” balloon release.
The ninth annual event starts at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Smith’s gravesite at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
It honors recovery efforts of anyone who has suffered from drug addiction and remembers the lives of loved ones lost due to drug abuse.
