Early Voting in the Presidential Preference Primary began on Wednesday but so far turnout in Morgan County is slow.
Administrator of Elections Minnie Ann Armes said on Tuesday that only 159 ballots have been cast in the primaries and those votes are just about equal between Republicans and Democrats.
On the first day of Early Voting 49 ballots were cast; 26 on Thursday; 55 on Friday; 19 on Saturday and 10 on Tuesday before 11:15 a.m.
